It was certainly good news for parents in Bamusso when government created a nursery school in Mbongo in 2004.
But the glad tidings didn’t come along with the required infrastructure. Classes began in a private residence. Then they were moved to a shed in the market. There was urgent need for adequate facilities.
From this pressing need, a micro project – the construction and equipment of two classrooms and the building of a stand tap connected to the existing water scheme – targeting an average of 180 pupils was born after a convention was signed between the PNDP and Bamusso Council in July of 2012.
